My story begins in the vibrant heart of LA, where fierce women shaped my world. Born to a Cuban mother, I was raised in an environment held together by my mom, aunts, my sister, my cousins, and my Yaya, my mother's mother. At Yaya's house, I watched my grandmother work magic with plants and remedies for our family, from common colds to postpartum nourishment. She whispered secrets of folk healing into our ears, teaching us that every root carries a spirit of wellness. These traditional remedies were our connection to our ancestors. This deep-rooted wisdom became my lifeline when I entered motherhood at sixteen and again in 2021. Those early lessons laid the foundation for everything I do today. Now, as a mother, doula, and herbalist, I blend that sacred folk knowledge with my B.S. in Integrative Health. I created Motherhood Bruja to center and uplift BIPOC mothers and families, ensuring no mother walks her path alone. By honoring our cultural roots and inclusive community, I am here to build our village together.

Motherhood is a sacred journey
What is Motherhood Bruja?
Raised by Caribbean ancestral practices and inspired by the vital need for communal care, Motherhood Bruja is a nurturing service that centers BIPOC mothers and families while welcoming all who seek inclusive, spiritual support. We honor ceremony, nourishment, and storytelling as essential parts of maternal wellness. We believe motherhood is sacred and that postpartum care is a human right. We believe BIPOC mothers and their children deserve a dedicated, supportive community. We believe ancestral wisdom and spirituality belong in every birth story. Motherhood Bruja exists to remember the village that modern motherhood forgot and to ensure every family feels seen, held, and deeply spiritually connected.
